MORINGA, QUAIL EGGS AND SICKLE CELL

I am sure you are wondering why am I talking about Moringa and Quail eggs in the same blog. Well the reason is this:

moringa-leavesMoringa:

I found out that Moringa is good for you, it boosts energy, which I tend to lack with Sickle Cell; Moringa has significant high levels of vitamins (A, B, B1,B2, B3, D, AND E); it has fiber, calcium, potassium and protein; contains anti-oxidants, rejuvenates the body cells and strengthens the immune system!

Quail eggs isolated on whiteQuail Egg:

I have also read time and time again that quail eggs, (QE), should be classified as a supper food. Despite its small size, its nutritional value is 3-4 times more than that of a chicken egg. It is not known to cause allergies of any kind.

QE are generally rich in anti-oxidants, in protein and iron. QE is a source of vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B12, D), copper, zinc, magnesium, and other mineral and amino acids. It strengthens the immune system and help with anemia by increasing the level of hemoglobin in the body while removing toxins.

Now to the reason why I am taling about Moringa and quail egg in the same post is because I tend to eat both together: I boil my quail eggs, eat 2 daily. Once I have taken off the shell, I cut it into two and sprinkle some Moringa and tumeric on my eggs. So as to give it some taste, while I am equally getting all naturally possible nutrients from eating these at a go.

Or you can have your QE on bread, plain or toasted, I tend to eat it like I mentioned above as QE is filling. Moringa on the other hand can be mixed with hot water, as a beverage; or you can add it to your fruit juice.

Enjoy
